This series explores “Mutable Recurrence” in SOUND and IMAGE.

“Mutable Recurrence” is how I define those ideas of repetition that are specific to some areas of my work. A “Mutable Recurrence” is simply defined as sounds or images that repeat and change, often imperceptibly, over time. There is often an attempt by sound or image to develop that is thwarted, or as I like to say, that grows but never ripens.
